1972 Volkswagen T2 Camper

A perfect project T2 ready for a new interior. This is an original Dormobile conversion T2, which has recently undergone an extensive engine rebuild by an expert third party (their report available on request). With less than 2k miles driven since, I am unfortunately unable to get enough use out of this beautiful camper due to other projects and my job. The time has come for someone to either complete the restoration or enjoy taking it camping as-is, as I did last year within the UK. With its original pop-top roof and canvas this is a truly charming vehicle which always turns heads on the road and looks amazing on the campsite.
Work completed within last 2yr/2k miles:
- Full engine rebuild inc shaft grinding, new heads, new carb and much more;
- New anti-roll bar;
- New front brake hoses;
- All CV joints rebuilt with new boots fitted;
- New alternator;
- New distributor with vacuum advance.
This van is ready to drive away now. Although exempt, MOT records are available online.
