Hello there! My name is Tom, I have over 8 years of experience tutoring pupils of varying abilities at many academic levels and I am fully DBS/CRB checked. I pleted a masters degree in Astrophysics from University College London, having previously graduated from King's College London with a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Philosophy.
I thoroughly enjoy helping others to fulfil their potential and I pride myself on recognising the individual needs of different pupils in order to effectively achieve results. Each student that I have taught has experienced a significant increase in their understanding of course material, gained an improved confidence and ultimately reached a higher working grade as a result. I endeavour to explain and teach in an interesting, stimulating manner and I believe that I will be able to do the same for you or your daughter/son.
What exactly I teach:

Functional Skills in Maths at all levels for adult learners.
Availability:
Currently I am available for appointments during the week and at weekends, both in person and online. For online tuition, I use a specialised, easy to access online platform incorporating video chat and a shared virtual workspace.
Fee:
I charge £48 per hour as a standard rate, but offer the first hour for £35 as an introductory price to ensure that you are satisfied with my approach to teaching.
