This is an absolutely gorgeous engraved lead crystal paperweight or ornament featuring a Pheasant in tall grass. The design is deeply engraved on the reverse and the body of the bird is frosted.
It was made by Wedgewood and has their engraved mark on the bottom. The piece is much lovelier than the photos show because it is quite difficult to photograph well.
This is a great collectible ornament for your desk, table or window sill.
The paperweight is in very good condition and quite heavy.
It measures 3 in. (8 cm) x 4 1/4 in. (10.8 cm).
