Here for sale is this Vintage EST 96 Musicman style bass guitar. ( Similar to V96).
I think this is an older version, believed made in Korea but similar to the version available now but its passive not active.
It features a solid wood (Poplar I think) body with maple neck with maple fretboard. It features a single Humbucker pickup with master volume and 2 band eq ( treble and bass ).
The eq is quite like a tone roll off but I expect its for bass and treble as mentioned.
Its a used bass with many marks and small indents, scuffs and scrapes. There is some tarnishing to the chrome parts in places, chips to the body and playing marks and scuffs to the back of the neck.
The strings are recent and in decent condition and it plays nicely. You may wish to tweak the set up once received.
The latest version is £349 new online.
Comes with used gig bag and strap, collection BS6 or BS7.
