Trainee Accounts Assistant - Part time - 9am -1.30 pm or 1.30 pm - 5.30 pm

A leading Hounslow based accounting practice is seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting and finance tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper bookkeeping.
• Perform financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, and deal with HMRC and other regulatory authorities.
• Assist in the preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records for audits.
• Provide support to other team members as required.
Requirements:
• Possess excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
