Looking for some SEN experience around your part time studies? We are supporitng a lovely special school in Thetford, Norfolk who are looking for Ad hoc cover Teaching Assistants to join their team. The school in Thetford, Norfolk caters for primary and secondary aged learners with social, emotional mental health. The class sizes range from 6 - 10 pupils & you will have support from the class teacher and the wonderful team. The role would involve 1:1 work with pupils within the classroom, as well as general Teaching Assistant duties. This can include, preparing the classroom for exciting activities, simplifying tasks to help pupils understand subjects & keeping the environment safe and tidy.
If asked to work or cover for another member of staff, you will need:
A flexible approach to working
To be available between 8:30am to 3:45pm
To be commutable to Thetford, Norfolk
Be willing to learn on the job and get involved where required
A positive and happy attidtude
A passion to support vulnerable young people
