We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous chef to join a a newly established team at a lovely dining pub in Esher. The site which is under new management are looking to build a kitchen team that will deliver a fresh seasonal menu at this busy site. You will be supported but a group Exec Chef and have 2 other chefs within the brigade to support you in this role.
The Place
A stylish dining pub with 6 guest rooms in the heart of Esher. This bustling pub promises delectable pub dining, exciting beers and cracking world wines. A great spot for private parties the pub has two private dining spaces as well as a 60 seater pub/restaurant.

The ideal Sous Chef will have the following:
Experience at Sous Chef or Junior Sous in a fresh food environmentproven track record of managing a teamImagination, an eye for detail and a desire & ability to deliver quality fresh dishesA passion for cooking, with a genuine love of food and a real desire to learn and develop your skills.A good understanding of all applicable Health & Safety legislation & experience working with strict Health & Hygiene regimes.Punctuality, reliability and a can-do attitude.The ability to work in a team in a busy environment, sometimes under pressure with self-motivation and the ability to motivate othersFlexibility to work on a rota basis across seven day as required.You must be able to attend a working trial as part of the interview process
