Security Installation Engineer -Full Time-Permanent-Competitive Salary- Based in Darlington

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Installation Engineer to join a pany.

About the Role:
As an Installation Engineer you will need to be a multi skilled individual with good experience in the installation of Intruder Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems and CCTV Systems to the required standards.
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with Security Systems
Fire Alarm System Installation experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Experience of Fiber Optic Splicing and using an OTDR would be beneficial but not essential.
Experience of IP Networking would be preferred but not essential
Experience of Barrier, Pedestrian Gate and Turnstile Installations (preferred but not essential).
Familiar with safe working practices alongside Health and Safety requirements.
Understanding of relevant British Standards relating to the installation each discipline (Intruder, Access Control, CCTV etc).
Strong Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude.
Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal, written and munication skills.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
Qualifications:
ECS/CSCS (CCNSG and EMSS also accepted)
FIA (not essential but would be beneficial) IPAF (not essential but would be beneficial) Full Driving Licence.

This role will involve regularly working away from home. modation and expenses will be provided.
The successful candidate will be subject to BS7858 Security Screening and UKSV.
Full employment will be subject to pletion of a 6-month probationary period.
