Reclaimed Vintage Victorian Orange Clay Bricks, Featuring ‘W.H. Parton & Son, Kings Heath’ Brickworks Mark (Birmingham) circa 1900.
An authentic piece of local history.
William Henry Parton and his son William Henry Junior, ran a prosperous brickworks in Kings Heath, between 1897/8 and 1915. The brickworks was not reopened after the war.
W.H. Parton & Son is recorded at High Street & works at Kings Heath, Birmingham in Kelly's 1899 & 1900 editions.There is a gap in directory entries until Kelly's 1913 & 15 editions at the same address.
The former lane to the clay pit & Brickworks, between Kings Road & Grove Road, was later named Partons Road after William Henry Parton’s Brickworks.
