An excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Surveyor to join a well-established company based in Chandlers Ford.
About the Company:
They a well-established main contractor based in Chandlers Ford delivering construction and refurbishment projects to local authorities and commercial clients ranging in value up to £1.5M.
The company are seeking an enthusiastic and construction experienced Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Surveyor to join their expanding team.
About the Role:
Concurrent cost management responsibilities across several Clients. Measure and interpret specifications and drawings Creation of Bill of Quantities and Schedules of Rates. Preparation, negotiation and financial control of subcontractor packages. Site visits, inspections and attendance at meetings. Valuations, variations and final accounts. Commercial development across supply chain. General project co-ordination and administration. Support and liaison with Senior Management.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven cost management experience. Previous working in construction and interior refurbishment. Relevant industry qualification an advantage. Good communication skills. Able to work in a team. Self-motivated and results driven.
