QA Software Tester - ISTQB Qualified

Are you a Tester with experience of creating QA tests, processes and reports? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Software Tester (QA).
We are a new Azure cloud-based insurance policy administration platform that is set to change the way the insurance world works! We are executing an ambitious growth strategy and have an exciting program of development work planned, that will take the platform to the next level.

As a Software Tester for our development projects, you will be responsible for ensuring that the new features of the product conform to specifications and exceed the high level of quality that our customers expect.
Please note: full driving licence essential, office is not reachable by public transport.
Only candidates currently based in the UK and within commutable distance of office location.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborating with product management, development teams and support.
- Planning and executing testing procedures through the development process.
- Developing automated testing procedures
- Reporting and managing issues.
- Maintaining the test environment to ensure that all devices are current and available for fault finding and customer demonstration.
Essential Skills:
- The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent attention to detail and be process and result-driven, with an understanding of software environments and challenges.
- Experience of working in a manual testing role in a software environment.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and understanding of software environments and challenges.
- Experience with software tracking tools.
Desirable Skills:
- Automation testing experience
- Experience with insurance software/insurance industry
