Home.iskey services Ltd are recruiting for a Property maintenance PA to join our team to cover properties in London, Kent and west Midlands.
We aim is to provide an exceptional level of service to both our Landlords and Tenants, as well as to develop excellent working relationships with our contractors.
Our company is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team of Maintenance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using power tools and strong safety measures, and will be experienced in all facets of home maintenance. Previous experience in the home improvement industry is a plus, as is an understanding of proper tool maintenance. This position is both physically and mentally demanding and requires strong organizational skills as well as an eye for detail.

You will be responsible for managing serveral properties, dealing with queries and issues throughout a tenancy’s duration from move in to move out, and dealing with such queries and issues in an efficient and timely manner. You will need to be an organised individual, who is an excellent multi-tasker that can prioritise their workload and has a great eye for detail. Will be required to fix and carry out maintenance and cleaning. Previous experience in handyman roles useful.
Some customer service experience would be desirable, but full training will be provided, not only at the start of your career but throughout.
Hours: Monday to Friday part time 15 hours a week
Eg 3 hours a day
(Some occassional weekend and bank holiday cover) may be required - for which time off in lieu will be granted).
Salary Range: £7500- £9500 per annum
Key Responsibilities
Advertising and headhunting for new clients.
Arrange and carry out regular inspection of your portfolio of managed properties, ensuring these are properly recorded and reported to deputy operational manager (DOM).
Manage property maintenance issues within your skills at a high standard or raise issues for DOM.
Prepare end of tenancies relevant section notices where applicable.
Arrange and carry out check out reports.
Assist in building a panel of trusted, reliable, regular tradespeople and maintain a good working relationship.
Assist with rental arrear issues and complete annual rent reviews.
Process all rent and ensure accounts is upto date.
Obtain all certificates as they become necessary for all existing managed properties.
Obtain, process and upload the Public Liability Insurance Certificates for Contractors on Propertyfile.
Maintain regular telephone contact with tenants following completion of any repairs or property work and update Propertyfile
Ensure the Health and Safety Policy of the company is upheld and the safety of you, colleagues and the general public is maintained at all times both on-site and off-site whilst working.
Provide cover for fellow Property Managers during periods of absence or annual leave.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Handyman experience (desirable) -painting, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, carpentry, repairs ect...
Computer Literate
Good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Full Driving License and use of own car
