New Prohaszka custom 12 fret parlour build from 2020.
We’re very excited to have this one in stock along with his other Mahogany ‘Bard’ model recently received. This is a guitar specifically built by Balázs for the 2020 ‘Holy Grail’ guitar show, which due to the pandemic unfortunately couldn’t go ahead. A rare opportunity to purchase a very special guitar.
It’s a stunning 12 fret parlour model with some very quirky, unique & playful custom appointments and the sound of it really belies it’s small stature. It’s an incredible little guitar alongside being a truly one of a kind type design.
It has a wonderfully straight wide grained Sitka Spruce top, almost Adirondack esque visually and a jawdropping black Limba back and sides. It also showcases some of Balázs’s mastery of craftsmanship with some exquisite inlay work with a nod to his dark sense of humour.
The Rosette states ‘This is a Fucking Good Guitar’, of which it is, but this is really a statement to echo the slight ‘risque’ inlay work detailing couples in the midst of passionate encounters. The headstock design showing a man kissing a woman’s neck whilst she clutches him close and he, as the Irish say, is “dropping the hand”. The fretboard inlay takes this further and shows another mitting the act. It really is a fun piece of art and an amazing sounding bined.
