Print Shop Assistant

Print Assistant Job Available. Experience not required as training will be given. What is essential is an aptitude to learn new skills, good team work with good communication and presentation as well as basic numeracy skills.
This is a permanent role, working hours initially will be 27 hours a week, flexibility will be required to work longer hours at short notice during busy periods. In future moving onto full time 40 hours a week for the right applicant.
Duties include: operating printing / print finishing equipment and customer service.
Printing and folding architectural plans. Printing various items such as business cards, posters and banners. Machine creasing, book binding, guillotine trimming, T shirt printing etc.
Please note: This is not a graphic designer’s vacancy (please don’t send your portfolio). This is a hands on printing vacancy, producing and hand finishing printed items.
