Part Time - Hair Stylist Position
Our Company: We are an established children’s hair salon in Islington which has been open for 11 years this July. We are expanding our company and looking for a new teammember to join us this year.
We are a small team who are genuine friends in and outside of work. We have a fun, happy upbeat working environment filled with lots of laughter.
Job roles duties & responsibilities: The job role will involve cutting both adults and children’s hair using both basic and technical cutting techniques.
Carrying out client consultations to establish the clients wants as well as also identifying any styles that would be more suitable to the clients hair type. Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners.
Greeting customers, manage bookings and serve walk-inswhen required.
Ensures that the salon and all equipment is clean,tidy and orderly at all times.
Candidates necessary skills & qualifications: We are looking for a stylist with at least 1 years hairdressing experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification/training.
The Job Role: We are looking for a part time stylist that is available to working during our peak times – Weekends, after school & school holidays.
The amount of hours is negotiable with a minimum of 1 day preferably 1-3 days per week with the option of doing flexible hours.
Our salary will depend on experience but starting at the London living wage.
We are also creating a bonus scheme within the salon starting April 2023.
