Your new companyWith a proud history and a growing record of success, this organisation is a leading name in the sports, media and entertainment field. A legal counsel vacancy has arisen to .join a high calibre in-house legal team, based in Manchester with hybrid / homeworking.
Your new roleYou will join a busy legal team providing a range of legal advice and support for both operational and commercial departments. Your duties will include drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, sponsorship agreements as well as managing IP and data protection issues.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified solicitor, with a strong academic background with good quality post qualification experience in commercial law. You will have trained with a leading firm for either commercial, IP, technology, sports law or with a well-regarded in-house legal team. In-house secondment experience would be ideal and you will need to have excellent relationship building skills as you will be engaging with the business, internal departments, external customers and industry bodies.What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a salary up to GBP55k plus bonus and benefits. You'll enjoy exposure to a fast-paced, commercial environment, developing your skills in-house with a hard working legal team where you will receive excellent supervision and support on high profile work.
