Our client is part of a highly successful financial services group based in Farnborough. Their holistic approach enables them to provide bespoke solutions to a wide range of clients.
As part of their continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced mortgage broker to work a hybrid role between home and their base in central Farnborough.
The primary function of the role is to write new business from the existing base of clients who are due for upcoming rate and annual reviews.
Advising and arranging mortgage's obtaining a full analysis of the clients' needs and constructing an appropriate solution and reporting the recommendation to St. James's Place standard.
Please note the role will NOT involve advising on or writing protection business, as a result you will be expected to refer clients to specialist Protection and Wealth advisers.
Person Specification
A minimum of 2 years successful mortgage broking experience, with a mix of face to face and phone/virtual experience interviewing.
Demonstrable track record of producing high quality volume mortgage sales.
Comfortable working within and office-based environment (Head Office in Farnborough) in addition to visiting clients and undertaking networking within the local area.
Be able to evidence strong compliant and business submission history.
Cemap or equivalent qualification.
The Benefits.
Negotiable basic salary (GBP28-GBP32,000)
Realistic first full years advising OTE GBP55,000 (please note you will not be able to advise for until you are CAS status. This should not take longer than 8 weeks).
Year 2 OTE GBP85-90,000 (existing broker is achieving this)
In-house Training academy in place to progress successfully into Wealth Management if candidate chooses to move into Protection and/or Wealth (Must be in Mortgage role for minimum 24 months and have met expected performance to receive management recommendation to move to apply for the academy).
20 days holiday; after 1 years completed service - 25 days.
On successful completion of Probation - Gym Membership, Private Medical Insurance and Company Pension
Core hours are 40 per week. The position requires the role holder to be flexible to ensure the needs of the client are met.
