Calling all Date lovers to join our team on our Market Stall - situated in the historic Borough Market (London Bridge).
About Us:
Date Sultan purvey the finest dates from around the world and make it available to the UK via our website and in luxury and fine food markets. We are strict on our fair trade approach and ensure all our dates are sourced ethically with no modern slavery involved in our supply chain. We are looking to grow our team and seek someone passionate for ethically sourced good and tasty food.
We are looking for a confident and engaging individual to join us at our market stalls. You will also be helping with the logistics and operations.
Duties include:
Setting up the market stand to a luxuriously presentable & neat manner
Attracting and pulling customers towards our stand
Educating customers about the different types of dates we sell - so that we can help them find the right date for themselves
Selling the dates to customers (all of e from different walks of life)
Stock checking
Packing away all the products in their labelled boxes
Closing the stall
About you:

Trustworthy & reliable

Cool under pressure
Ability to speak to people from all walks of life
Punctual and well organised
Multi-task efficiently
A great team player
Must love eating and enjoying ethically sourced fine dates
Ideally, we prefer someone who mit to the position for at least 6 months plus. Upon a successful interview and 2 hour training session, this role is available immediately.
A valid drivers license is desirable.
