This is a thoughtful testimonial style commercial that sheds light on the need to help our loved ones with dementia or Alzheimer’s maintain their independence while also helping them to safely manage their day to day money.
For this testimonial style project, we are seeking LONDON AREA people whose REAL FAMILY MEMBER ACTUALLY HAS EARLY STAGE DEMENTIA OR ALZHEIMER'S. Both the person with dementia/Alzheimer's and their carer family member will appear on camera (and be paid). No acting experience necessary but actors encouraged to submit!
This project will adhere to Covid safety protocols.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Seeking people who are the REAL primary carer or regularly care for a family member with early stage dementia or Alzheimer's in the LONDON UK AREA. Both the carer & their family member with dementia/Alzheimer's will appear on camera together.
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
To submit yourself & your family member who has early stage dementia/Alzheimer's, send us a written email submission that includes the following information or send us a self-taped video sharing this info on camera (and include pictures).
1. Your name, the first name of your family member who has early stage dementia/Alzheimer's and what CITY you each live in (must be GREATER LONDON UK AREA).
2. Tell us a bit about yourself & your family member with early stage dementia/Alz:
a) How are you related? Are you their primary carer? If not, what types of support do you give them and how often?
b) Describe their activity/mobility level - ie do they still like to get out, are they talkative, etc?
c) Have you noticed any issues or problems with how they spend or have spent their money?
c) What is their living situation (ie do they live with you, by themselves or have they been placed in a care facility)?
3. Attach RECENT PICTURES of yourself and of your family member who has early stage dementia/Alzheimer's. Candid shots or selfies are great! If you have pics of the two of you together, please include those!
4. Email your submission ASAP but no later than 3/19 to: [email protected]
Once we receive your submission, we will follow up with additional questions & requests for more pic or videos.
LOCATION:
Seeking people specifically in the LONDON UK AREA. This project may be filmed in your own home (or the home of the person with dementia/Alzheimer's) for authenticity and the comfort of the person with dementia/Alzheimer's.
PAY RATES AND SPOT USAGE:
Rates: $2000 USD ($1000 for shoot day and $1000 for 1 year use) PER PERSON. Both carer and family member w/dementia or Alzheimer's paid the same amount.
Usage: 1 year internet (as online video and social media) and for case study and award shows.
