Our client, a small metal-assembly workshop based in Ford, Arundel, is looking for Machine Operators / Assemblers.

Salary circa £10.50 per hour DoE
No weekend working, free on-site parking

Our client is an established manufacturer of metal chimney cowls and cowling, with over 50 years in the business.
To meet increasing demand for their products, they have immediate shifts available for manufacturing operatives to join their team in Ford, Arundel, either part time or full time on a short term contract basis.
Shifts:
7.30am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday
7.30 -11.30 am Friday (40 hours paid per week)
Responsibilities/Tasks
Days will vary –and will consist of the following:
Operating production and cutting machines
Using riveting machines
Assembly of metal products from parts
Assisting powder coating line
Quality inspection
Picking and packing customer orders
About You
Applicants will require a good standard of spoken and written English, strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
The role involves standing for extended periods of time and some medium heavy lifting.
Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential, just a good work attitude, adaptable to varying work requirements and a willingness to learn.
For the right person there may be the opportunity for a permanent contract.
Forklift experience an advantage but not necessary.
