Logistics Planner – Christchurch – Salary up to GBP26,000
A Logistics Planner is required for our client to join the busy logistics team. Your main responsibility is to ensure that all customer requirements are met and to support the team with general administration required. This is a fully office based role with the working hours from 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
Support the logistics team by looking after the national accounts side of the business by completing ad hoc administration dutiesRetrieve & process all customer orders from various channelsPrepare all the relevant paperwork for outgoing orders and ensure these are ready for deliveryDeal with transportation arrangements for outgoing deliveriesEnsure carrier labels are printed and attached to all ordersAnswer incoming calls from customers and deal queries via emailPrepare reports relating to order data and customer database Experience & Skills Required:
Prior experience working in logistics and dealing with customers and/or carriersGood knowledge of Excel and computer systemsAble to prioritise a busy workloadStrong communication skills, written and verbalHighly organised with great attention to detail Benefits
