Condition: A USED REAR RACK
- REFURBISHED TO A GOOD STANDARD.
USES: ** IDEAL FOR A VINTAGE/ RETRO BIKE WITH
THE 4 FRAME MOUNTS FOR A REAR PANNIER RACK**
HISTORY:
THIS REAR RACK DATES FROM THE 1980's.
IT WAS USED DURING THE 2ND HALF OF THAT DECADE.
IT WAS THEN REMOVED FROM USE AND KEPT IN CONTINUAL CAREFUL STORAGE UNTIL RECENTLY.
I HAVE NOW COMPLETED A FULL REFURBISHMENT
- THIS INCLUDED:
1) A FULL REMOVAL OF THE BLACK PLASTIC
COVERING,
2) THEN THOROUGH POLISHING OF THE WHOLE RACK
WITH WIRE WOOL AND CLEANER
DISTANCE BETWEEN THE 2 LOWER LEGS EACH WITH 2 HOLES - EITHER ONE TO USE TO BOLT THE LEG TO THE FRAME ABOVE THE REAR DROP OUTS:
- THIS IS : 140mm *MINIMUM* - SEE 2 PHOTOS.
THIS WIDTH CAN BE PULLED OUT TO A MAXIMUM OF 150mm approx.
- AS THE WHOLE RACK HAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF 'GIVE'.
