A family near Tetbury, Gloucestershire are looking for a Full time Housekeeper to join their team at their beautiful staffed home. The family are searching for an all rounder with high standards, who is friendly, trustworthy, proactive and happy to be flexible. You would be working in an appreciative household with an interior and exterior staff team with a \"muck in and help out\" attitude.
Family Background
The family comprises of parents and 2 young children. The family employ nannies, no sole charge childcare is necessary for this role. Although a willingness to play/help with the children is a huge bonus. The family have pets, so you must be happy around animals for this role.
The family live in the heart of a beautiful country estate that houses their main home and additional guest cottages and outbuildings. This is a sociable household, the family regularly host house guests and or family/friends who stay in the guest properties on site.
The family are looking for a friendly and personable housekeeper to work as part of the current staff team. You must have a strong initiative and an eye for detail. You should be happy to run the home and support the family as they lead their busy and active lives. You should be confident in communicating with colleagues as well as the family and their guests.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily upkeep and deep cleaning of the main house and guest cottages, ensuring that everything is always tidy and presentable. You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping, and be able to clean and care for a home to a high standard.
Duties include all housekeeping tasks such as, but not limited to, laundry, ironing, unpacking groceries, changing linens, inventory, organising & ad hoc tasks. The main focus is on keeping the house as presentable as possible, at all times. This is a busy role where the jobs lists can change significantly on a daily basis.
Candidates must be/have -
*Minimum 2 years experience working in private household or similar.

Salary
£30,000
HOURS GENERALLY MON-FRI. 5 DAYS A WEEK - EQUAL SHARE OF WEEKEND WORK ON A ROTA BASIS BETWEEN INTERIOR TEAM. APPROX 40 HOURS PER WEEK WITH FLEXIBILITY
