It has a range of 52 treble notes, ranging from C, clarinet selected, (C below middle C to G, an octave higher than the G on a 37 key piano accordion).

4 sets of treble reeds (LMMM).

It has 9 treble couplers, starting from the top, they are,

Master (LMMM), Bandoneon (LM), Bassoon (L), Clarinet, (M). Master (LMMM), Musette (MMM), Tremolo (MM), Accordion (LMM) and Master (LMMM).

It has 5 sets of bass reeds with the bass reed in a cassotto chamber.

It has 3 bass couplers, starting from the bottom,
lower sets of reeds, master coupler and high sets of reeds.

The accordion, with its straps, weighs 12.8kgs, (28lbs).

The accordion has been, tuned to 440Hz, palleted, both treble and bass, re valved.
The bass reeds have been re waxed, but the rest is standard.

It also has a new set of shoulder straps, and bass strap and what looks to be the original hard case.
The treble buttons have been replaced, and spotted ones have been put on the A’s and the D’s.

A lot of work has gone into this accordion, over 100 hours to get to a good playable standard.

The musette is tuned +21 cents, -18 cents.

This accordion is made in Germany, by the Hohner factory, (circa 1950’s /60’s, so it is a quality instrument, using the finest of materials. Treble keyboard has a light touch and quiet.
It has also been serviced with adjustments, replacements and cosmetic touches, where required.

The compression is, incredibly good.

This accordion can either be viewed by appointment, or alternately, you can get in touch, and we can arrange a time to view it through Zoom Meetings, or if you just want to near what it sounds like, I can make an audio recording on request.

In addition to the above, I am offering 1 hour of free tuition valid up to 1 month after the purchase of the accordion.
Unfortunately, I cannot discount from the accordion, the price of the lesson to anyone who cannot take up my offer of the hour’s free lesson.

I am prepared to pack the accordion free of charge, but I will not be liable for any damage that might occur in transportation. It is up to the individual whether they insure it or not.

Alternately, I can do the courier arrangements and packing for a flat rate of £30 (mainland UK), £50 N.I., £40 Highlands and Islands, this does not include insurance.
