Hours :4/5 days a week, 9:00-16:30
Salary : Competitive
We are currently seeking a skilled Head Chef to join our team at Hummings Bar & Cafe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a bustling and vibrant atmosphere, with a chance to lead and create your own team. We offer a breakfast menu and buffet-style lunch, which means you’ll have the chance to create a innovative dishes and menus that appeal to our loyal customers.
Responsibilities:
•Monitor and maintain inventory levels and food costs
•Ensure that food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
•Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area
•Order food and supplies as needed
•Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and management
Requirements:
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage kitchen staff
•A creative and innovative approach to menu design and dish creation
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays if necessary
We offer a full-time position with a very reasonable room rate included, two floors above the restaurant. There’s also an opportunity to bring on board another chef or team should that suit your working needs.
