Fundraising Development Officer (FTC) Burford, Oxfordshire (with hybrid working) The Organisation Blue Cross are one of the UK s leading animal welfare organisations for animals. We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes. We are now looking for a Fundraising Development Officer to join us on a full-time basis for a 12 month fixed term contract. The Role As a Fundraising Development Officer, you will support the delivery of our fundraising projects and activities to enhance our income. You ll provide project management support as well as developing and promoting the use of our Fundraising hub, which supplies useful data and metrics. Alongside the Group Head of Fundraising and Retail, you ll seek opportunities to improve the effectiveness of our fundraising activities, working with colleagues across the charity to support teams, further income and share fundraising ideas. Additionally, you will: - Develop business cases to support projects or activities - Support the management of contracts - Maintain good internal relationships - Keep up to date with developments in the fundraising sector - Ensure systems are in place to record and monitor income - Ensure best practice is followed in all fundraising activity About You To be considered as a Fundraising Development Officer, you will need: - Experience of fundraising - Project management experience - Experience of developing, and adapting to, innovative approaches to fundraising activity and new projects - Experience of Fundraising - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - IT proficiency Salary grade: 5.1 The closing date for this role is the 9th April 2023.
