2012 Ford Transit LWB Hi Top
Ford Transit, ex network rail welfare unit, partially converted to camper. 120K current MOT. currently SORN, I purchased this at the backend of summer last year and did a few jobs like adding concealed blinds, led projector for tv/movies, new flooring, 2 x brand new leisure batteries, I’ve also added mains hook up which provides 6 x 240v sockets and 4 x usb.
It has a vey good diesel heater, a water boiler ( this worked when I first got it, gave it a good clean and it didn’t work after that!) But there is another hot and cold tank with sink that works fine. (See pics)There is a microwave, 12v basic fridge, 2 x lights in main area, all of this is 12 v that runs off the leisure battery and the microwave works from inverter ( can’t remember the wattage but I thinks it’s at least 2000w+. There is good storage at the back! i was undecided on taking partition out and making camper full size, but left it for now as such useful storage.
This is a reluctant sale as I really wanted to make good use of it this year but as I’m planning to move home shortly, I have decided to let it go as I doubt I’ll have anywhere to park it after I move
i would consider taking and automatic 7 seater in P/X ie. Ford Galaxy/ Seat Alhambra BUT must be CAZ free (bristol) and AUTO or not interested
