Finance Manager Hybrid Working

Sheridan Maine is recruiting for this rapidly growing PE backed business based on the outskirts of Southampton. With further organic growth and acquisitions planned the expansion of the business shows no sign of slowing down so this represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join the organisation.Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this key role in the finance team is offered on a hybrid working basis with a minimum of 3 days in the office and some flexibility on working hours.The position will take responsibility for all Treasury and Tax matters for the group of companies, with a key focus on managing and developing cash flow forecasting. A summary of key tasks includes: Treasury and Cash Forecasting - Ensuring group cash is in the right accounts to ensure accurate supplier payments through the effective management of the bank accounts. Producing daily cash forecasts and maintaining longer term periodic forecasts around the group's cash position.Tax - Supporting the preparation of corporation tax computations for all the group companies in consultation with external advisors, ensuring VAT compliance and reviewing quarterly returns.Holding Companies - Overviewing the accounts for the group's holding companies feeding any adjustments into the management accounts and accounting for external loans Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with core financial accounting skills gained through industry or via practice/professional services. Key is previous proven experience of cash management and forecasting - the client will consider a studier or Qualified by Experience candidate with strong skills in this area. Experience of UK GAAP accounting under FRS102 and exposure to tax/vat accounting would all be beneficial.The role will come with a suite of additional benefits including Hybrid Working, Flexible Hours, 25 days holidays, Pension and life assurance.You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.Due to the high volume of applications we receive it is not always possible to respond to unsuccessful applicants.
