Hours of work
Working hours are door-to-door minus 1.5 hours. Half an hour unpaid each way travel, and half an hour unpaid lunch. A minimum day door to door is 9.5 hours.

A large amount of our work is on railway contracts, training and competencies will be provided for working on the railwayOvertime is expected of our engineers and some Saturdays may be required but are not often. Nights are a possibility but are not oftenOn-call rota is 1 week every 7 weeks approx. This is paid at GBP125 for the week regardless of any callouts (minimum call-out is paid x4 hours)All specialist refrigeration tools are supplied, but hand tools are your responsibility. We expect the general tool bags to include a thermometer and a multimeter with an amp clampThe sites include signal centres, data centres, maintenance depots, train care depots, stations, remote relay rooms tracksideThe work includes air conditioning, ventilation and mechanical. Splits, VRVs, chillers, AHU's LTHW and chilled water. Mostly routine PPM but also reactive repairs and planned works.
