Fender American Standard Stratocaster 1987 E4 serial number. One of the first American Standards out of Corona following the CBS sale. Full gloss neck ,domed tremolo screws and E4 serial mark this as one of the early ones. These guitars were very carefully made in small numbers as if they had not been quality and a success Fender as we know may not have existed any more,
Great guitar in great condition. A few marks to the finish on rear (pictured) but these may polish out as they're not deep or through to the wood. This was the guitar that laid the foundations for the modern Standard Strat as we now know it. 9.5\" radius, two point trem, bi flux truss rod, return to smaller headstock etc. A great guitar and getting quite rare from this initial full production year as there's not many about now as they were made in smaller numbers until the Corona plant got up and running at volume in the later 80s and 90s.
Comes with non Fender hard case. Any questions just ask.
