Experienced Teacher available for Physics & Maths Revision

Hi, my name is Fes and with exams coming up, I'm available for sessions to cover whole course content and exam technique. I will be able to provide resources and explanations to improve your confidence in Maths or Physics and therefore allow you to achieve more in your exams this year.
Before you decide if I’m right the tutor for yourself or your child, you’ll have to know at least something about me. I’m an already experienced tutor and teacher, having tutored for 8 years and taught for 5.
I have extensive experience in teaching S1 to Higher Physics and Maths, including National 5 and the English Curriculum. Having completed both a Post-Graduate degree in Education in Physics and a Mechanical Engineering degree at Glasgow University, I currently work as a Physics Teacher at an independent school in Bristol but am in Glasgow for the next month and can transition to online sessions after that point.
Having been through secondary school myself, I understand how difficult it is to balance multiple subjects. I achieved an A in Advanced Higher Physics and an A in Higher Maths; however, it was very difficult to do so without the help of my dedicated teachers. It is not possible for all teachers to devote as much time as required to the students who need it and that is where I come in.
I can make a positive impact on the level of engagement and achievement of my students by differentiating my lessons for the needs of each student. I find that a personable approach allows for mutual respect to develop. Using this approach, learners who have trouble engaging with the course material or are struggling to understand the key areas grow in confidence and develop a deeper understanding. I believe that my ability to adapt meets the specific learning requirements of those I tutor. Each lesson will be designed to go over the course content and will include past paper questions.
Up to now, I have tutored over 40 students, all of whom have benefitted from my sessions. I am truly passionate both about physics and maths, as well as educating. From doing a Master’s in Education and working as a teacher, I will be a rare position to pass on any new information regarding the updated Higher and National 5 curriculum and will be best trained to teach it.
I prefer tutoring online although I will be happy to also tutor at your home or at a cafe/library. My rate is £40 per hour and please feel free to get in touch to discuss any requirements.
