Deputy Manager
Support worker
We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, confident, proactive, and professional individual to occupy the position of a Deputy Manager to assist Teams Manager maintaining outstanding level of services we provide to our young people through effective planning, coordinating, evaluation, and risk assessment of daily activities at all our placements (Support modations). You will be supporting the Teams Manager in shaping the present and future of the organisation.

Responsibilities:
Eligible candidate must have the ability to perform key responsibilities which includes:
Maintain quality standards, provide good level support to our young people, and motivate young people and staff. Implementation and enforcement of placement rules and support plan. Monitoring staff adherence to rules and guidelines pany policies. Managing the petty cash and expenses of all placements. Ensure staff pliance, offer relevant trainings and ensure that staff trainings are in date. Perform human resources tasks, recruiting, interview and assessing staff performance and pliance with safer recruitment guidelines. Managing the daily activities and recording and recording incidents in all our placements (houses) and ensure protocols are followed e.g Mispers protocol Proofread weekly report prepared by all placements to eliminate grammatical errors and unethical phrases. Provide daily summary of events to professionals i.e. social worker and senior management in the organisation. Attending meetings: Look after Child (LAC) review meeting, Strategy meeting, Placement meeting and other Ad hoc meetings from time to time with or without the presence of the Teams Manager. And other job-related duties that may be assigned by Teams Manager.

Experience:
Experience is preferable but not essential as induction and training on the job will be provided. Candidate must have good attitude to work at all times and be professional.
Skills
Must have:
Good leadership skills Management skill munication skills, ability to listen and pay attention to our young people and staff and provide non-judgemental response. Verbal and munication ability Decision making skills. Time management skills People management skills Problem solving and stress management skills. Good risk assessment, planning, coordination, and evaluation skills Computer literate: use of Microsoft office including excel is essential.
Education:
Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Level 5, or equivalent management qualification, or the ability to achieve this within 12 months.
Other
Clean full driving license is essential and able to drive. Additional advantage car owner

We are looking for an ambitious, motivated, confident, proactive, and professional individual to occupy the position of a support worker to work with our dedicated team in maintaining quality standards of support and services we are offering to our young people in realising our mission of preparing them toward their independence. You will work either independently or in team with a team leader, supporting young people/person at our placement (house) in developing their daily independent skills.
Responsibilities:

Providing emotional support young people. Working in a team and collaboratively with other professionals, such as social workers, to ensure consistency of support and evaluate and address young person’s needs. Encouraging young people to attend to their personal hygiene and wellbeing. Supporting young people with their daily independent skills such as cooking, budgeting, cleaning, shopping, tidying, community integration and engaging in activities and attending appointments. Following young people person-centered support plan. Ensuring safety of the young person at placement and munity by risk assessing situation and carrying daily safety checks at placement. Supporting our young people to a lead good quality of life and help them make positive life choices. Reporting and recording activities and incidents in line with the protocol e.g Mispers, incident report, weekly report, and daily updates. Communicate with professionals and young person’s family, updating them about young people where applicable. Understanding munication needs and adapting munication to each young person/s e.g. sounds, tones, body language. Build therapeutic relationship with young people and have confidence municate effectively and listen to them with the aim of understanding and meeting their individual needs.
