2 x Black Cat 5e Ethernet Cables (2 metres long)
These BT Comtrend units are in very good condition and have been paired together and then fully tested so they will operate correctly straight away. Simple operating instructions are provided but a full user guide is available online if required.
Both adapters have a built in pass-through mains socket so they will not tie up any of your power points.
Please allow for some minor marks or scratches from previous use.
Powerline adapters are the ideal way of creating a home network or complementing an existing Wi-Fi connection. By providing a secure high speed connection and great service quality, Powerlines allow you to watch Standard and High Definition (HD) movies as well as play online games without interruption or pixilation; share photos, music and other media stored on a PC or compatible storage device anywhere in your home.
Powerline Adapters will help you reach those areas of your home where Wi-Fi signal is either too weak or cannot reach and can therefore prevent buffering on various devices.
Other usages of Powerline adapters include IP-CCtv surveillance cameras, setting up an office network without the need to add more wires or rewire if you change your office configuration.
Instructions for Use:
1. Plug the 'AP' adapter into a wall socket close to the router and connect it to the LAN socket of the router using an ethernet cable.
2. Plug the second adapter into a wall socket close to the device (Smart TV, console, laptop etc) and connect the adapter to the LAN socket of the device via the other Ethernet cable.
3. Wait for broadband signal to be transmitted from the adapter connected to your router to the one connected to the device.
They will work with any internet device which has an ethernet connection, such as:
Smart TV's
TV Set Top Boxes (YouView etc)
Laptops and PC's
Games Consoles
CCTV (ethernet connected)
