On a single charge the 417Wh battery provides up to 60 miles of pedalling assistance and will propel you on to speeds of 15.5mph. The Suntour Performance rear hub motor with premium cadence sensor offers 4 levels of assistance – Turbo, Tour, Sport and Eco – so you will have the power you need exactly when you need it.
The lightweight alloy frame and 9-speed gearing will help you up the hills, while the Suntour 75mm travel suspension forks will soften the bumps so you stay in control. Tektro Hydraulic disc brakes deliver reliable braking power whilst puncture resistant 700c Kenda K-935 tyres should help prevent a flat tyre from stopping you. Battery:
A semi integrated Suntour STL battery is mounted onto the Crossfire E’s frame, weight is balanced against the rear mounted hub motor providing an improved ride quality, over those with rear-mounted batteries. With a large battery capacity of 417Wh / 11.58Ah and a range of up to 60 miles per charge the Crossfire is very capable of going the distance. As standard on all Carrera E-bikes, the Crossfire comes with an integrated smart control system that protects the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging. The battery re-charges in just 6 hours.

Range*:
All electric bikes indicate a maximum mileage range that they can cover on a single battery charge. This is the furthest range in ideal conditions; however, this range can be impacted by a number of factors:
• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.
• The assistance mode selected.
• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).
• Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).
• Tyre pressure.
• Wind speed and direction.

Motor:
The Carrera Crossfire E is built around a fantastic Suntour Performance 36V rear hub electric motor system, seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel and providing 60NM of torque. The power control in the system is delivered courtesy of an intuitive cadence sensor, which will adjust the power output based on the users pedalling speed. When the users cadence increases then the system will increase the power output.

Display:
The electric motor of the Carrera Crossfire E 2021 is controlled via a Suntour TFT multifunctional colour display with separate handle bar remote. The TFT display allows you to choose from one of 4 assistance modes, eco, tour, sport and turbo, depending on the level of support you require. The unit also allows the user to view additional data whilst riding, such as speed, mileage, trip time and battery level. The display is located centrally, directly below the line of vision whilst riding, allowing you to keep your attention on the road ahead.
