Care Assistant (Waking Night) - Sutton Coldfield - GBP9.50 per hour, 24 hours per week Brookes HC is currently Working with a Care Home that has been designed and developed to provide specific care support based on different types of Care for the elderly, such as nursing, residential, dementia care and respite care They are expanding their team and havwe the current requirement: The Role 2 nights a week - 24 hours To assist service users who need help with retiring and getting up in the morning, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and using the toilet. To help service users with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including incontinence; help in use and care of aids and personal equipment. To care for service users who are temporarily sick and needing, for example, minor dressings, bed nursing, help with feeding, etc. To help care for service users who are dying. To help in the promotion of mental and physical activity of service users through communication, taking them out, encouraging them to be involved in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations. To make and change beds, tidy rooms, mop floors in room if needed and empty commodes. To clean both lounges, vacuum floors, chairs to be wiped down, side tables cleaned, dining room chairs and tables to be cleaned, bathroom/toilet floors mopped and toilets cleaned. To inspect, launder and mend service users clothing. To set tables for breakfast, feed service users who need help, prepare light meals, If required by service users (I.e. sandwiches etc) and wash up. To answer call bells, the door and the telephone and to pass on relevant message at handover.
