Beautiful Antique Victorian Ornate Arched Cast Iron Fireplace Black
Used, in excellent condition, Beautiful Antique Victorian Ornate Arched Cast Iron Fireplace in Black, removed from an old Victorian house I think pre-1880. Beautiful ornate detailing, very heavy and robust, lovely arched fireplace with ornate detailed chimney flap. Excellent overall condition for an old fireplace, bit of surface rust on the grate part which is expected, the fire bricks on the back are split as you can see but they are easily joined/fixed, the metal bracket holding them in sheared hence as to why the bricks split when coming out, these fireplaces are built to last for centuries so you can keep on updating them! Comes with additional under-grate and ask cover, there are two bolts for joining the second grate but only one wingnut, easily sourced as well if wanting both. Adds a real charm to many home settings, they look great in traditional as well as modern settings, great opportunity to pick up such a lovely original piece. Please see photo's. Sold as seen.
