*BARGAIN* Rare Four Horses/Four Lanes The Derby Horse Racing Scalextric Set

Great fun for all of the family.
Extremely rare horse scalextric, I cannot find another \"The Derby\" scalextric at all when searching the internet! I can only assume this is probably one of the last survivors of a small production run. A collectors item!
I have found quite a few \"The Ascot\" scalextric on the internet which are only a two lane/two horse race which are being sold just shy of £200.00.
The contents plete and the instructions are included and also a Certificate of Ownership.
I bought this game in the early nineties, and it has had very little use (used a couple of times by adults), hence, the fantastic condition it is in. Due to the lack of space it was packed away and forgotten about, but I feel it is time for someone else to have the excitement of owning such a magnificent game and fun of racing the horses. Or it could be kept as a future investment, as no doubt it is a collector's item now!
Fun for the whole family (up to four horse riders).
Create a realistic horse racing scene, you even have two spectators' stands supplied with spectators cheering on.
There is a Tannoy, so someone mentate all the horses' movements, great fun for the children and adults! I cannot remember how to get into the Tannoy' battery department, so I will leave that for the next owner to work out how to open it.
This set is in extremely good condition as it has been stored under the bed for decades without use, the only damage is to the box lid which has been taped in places as per photos.
I did a quick set up using a small amount of track to test the 4 horses and 4 handsets, they all work perfectly. I have added the last three images from the quick set up just to show how the handsets have been connected to the track and the electric adapter for your reference.
On the bottom of the horses the metal connectors which touch the metal slots on the tracks, creating the movement/electric charge have never needed to be replaced due to lack of use ( All in good as new condition). The spares as per the photos are still in sealed bags.
