Assistant/Graduate/Trainee QS

We are currently recruiting for a UK-based Assistant/Graduate/Trainee Quantity Surveyor to work with our experienced commercial team at our Wolverhampton office.
Due to planned growth for the foreseeable future, we have an opportunity for an Assistant/Graduate/Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join us.
This is a fantastic opportunity with excellent career prospects.
The role would suit someone with experience of a QS/commercial role.
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor:
Handling, controlling, and billing of work record sheets.Preparing billing for a variation of work elements.Responding to client queries.Preparing applications for payment and submission to the client.Identifying pricing and agreeing change.Sub-contract appraisals.Cost reporting.Preparing detailed final accounts.We welcome applications for this Assistant/Graduate/Trainee Quantity Surveyor role from candidates with skills or experience in the following areas: commercial, QS, administrator, graduate, trainee quantity surveyor.
Essential SkillsThe ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, working towards a Quantity Surveyor qualification.Highly organised and motivated.Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deal professionally with people at all levels.Ability to prioritise workload to ensure delivery is achieved within set timescales.Computer literate, with the ability to learn new software packages quickly.Plenty of initiative and an innovative approach to problem-solving.If this sounds like you, apply today and we'll be in touch with the next steps!
