Due to increasing demand for our services at our Shoreditch based store we are currently looking for an Apple Mac Repair Technician Electronic Engineer to join the team on either a FULL or PART TIME basis. Although we ask you to have the skills for electronics and motherboard repair when you arrive we will allow you to complete the Full Apple Training Course on the Job. This will mean at the end you will have a full Apple Tech ID and be able to work on any Apple device.
The main duties of this role are:
• Diagnosing MacBook problems at logic board level using microscopic engineering techniques. Disassembling & Tracing no power or liquid damage issues using the necessary schematics and looking to repair or replace faulty components on the logic board.
• Managing, monitoring and categorising customer repairs in correct order.
The secondary duties of this role are:
• Repairing hardware Laptops, Phones and Tablets • Ability to adapt to challenges while remaining calm in a constantly changing workshop environment
• The ability to work on your own and in a busy and pressurised environment. Be on time, polite and professional at all times and having the ability to use your initiative and be flexible towards your job. You also need to be methodical, able to use your initiative and a good problem solver. Previous experience as a repair technician repairing at logic board level is essential.
Fluent in English and be able to talk to customers on the phone. Due to the nature of the job we are looking for someone that is 100% fluent in English. This is due to the need to serve customers.
Please note; Equipment to repair logic boards is supplied but training is not provided. You must be technical and have good knowledge of repairing Windows and Mac computers. Apple Technician training is provided on the job.
Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Engineering would be beneficial.
