They are an enthusiastic about putting their client needs first, a modern thinking Practice with a dynamic team of 30+, with a rapidly growing client portfolio. This role will be exciting to a candidate looking to make use of existing qualifications and manage their own client portfolio in an innovative business. Responsibilities include: To prepare, send and submit accounts & tax returns for our clients, including Partnerships, Limited companies and Sole traders. Communicating with clients via phone, email, in person, social media including chasing records. Onboarding new clients to integrate them into your portfolio, inc bookkeeping, compliance etc to then be passed to relevant department. To act as a liaison between clients and HMRC to deal with and resolve queries. Ensuring all internal and statutory deadlines are met. To attend networking events when required. To prepare and execute year end client meetings, when required. To carry out client fee reviews. To carry out CPD required by your professional body. Providing excellent client care on the phone and in person whilst delivering reports and updates, greeting clients and welcoming into office, offering refreshments and answering incoming calls. Manage & Maintain your own professional development and learning. Managing client admin and records inc electronic filing of books and records. Completing, review and prepare bookkeeping and VAT returns.You must have: Ability to prepare accounts & tax returns for clients including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies. Must hold membership to a professional body (Does not need to be chartered). Confident in delivering direct advice to clients. Tax knowledge is a must. Be effective with communication, able to communicate both internally and externally. Good standard of verbal and written English. Proficient IT skills.
