Providing bespoke solutions to a wide range of industries from banking through to gambling, this organisation has experienced a tenfold increase in turnover in the last 3 years. Currently in a growth phase, our client require an experienced Account Executive to join their team on a permanent basis.What you'll be doing:Reporting into the CEO, the Account Executive will be responsible for managing the full 360 sales cycle, converting inbound opportunities through to close, managing a pipeline of business and supporting colleagues to close deals. The Account Executive will be a competent 'closer' with the ability to handle and close bigger deals within large, enterprise level accounts.This is a great opportunity for a hungry Account Executive who is looking for the next step up in their career as there is an opportunity for this person to become a Sales Manager in the next few years. Candidates must therefore be a team player, possess a 'we over I' mentality and ideally they will have experience of coaching/mentoring a team and managing KPI's.Key responsibilities:Engage with prospect organisations to position the organisations solutions through strategic value-based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, customer references and analyst dataProspect, develop and close new business while creating satisfied and referenceable customersDrive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and effectively present the organisations value proposition to both C-level business and IT stakeholdersManage all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, evaluation, contract negotiations and closeManage an individual sales pipeline to ensure an appropriate mix of prospects, new business opportunities and firm proposalsConducting sales both in person and via phone/webAcquire and maintain a thorough working knowledge of the company's software platform and services and a deep understanding of their applicationsEnsure that all stages of the sales cycle are undertaken effectively and concurrently to achieve the required resultsIdentify and manage risk in your business activities and take responsibility for reporting risks in a timely, open and appropriate mannerForecast, manage and update pipeline activities using the organisations CRM toolCoach and mentor members of the team to support them with closing dealsAbout you:The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly driven and tenacious with a 'winning mentality'. The Account Executive must be able to demonstrate a track record of success and know-how across the full B2B sales cycle from qualification to contract close.Solid experience in a new business sales position with Financial SaaS background is essential, coupled with proven proficiency in selling at enterprise level, managing complex, varied sales processes/deals/cycles and campaigns.The Account Executive will be confident in engaging with senior level stakeholders. Able to work autonomously, you will be goal-orientated with an enthusiastic and optimistic approach.Requirements:Minimum 3yrs+ Financial SaaS experienceUpsell and cross-sell experience into targeted strategic customer accountsDemonstrable track record of over-achievement of individual sales quotasExtensive experience in managing and closing complex sales cyclesProven track record of senior level stakeholder engagement on complex IT and Business led opportunities with referenceable client winsA self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture while being independent in managing his/her businessAccurate weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting and revenue deliveryExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment
