Built new for Sir Donald Gosling, this is a rare factory built Park Ward Touring Limousine which has covered just 7,600 miles from new and has had only one additional owner after Sir Donald. These vehicles are exceptionally rare, only 7 were built for the UK market so this is an exceptional opportunity indeed. Offered for sale on behalf of a local collector who is emigrating and has asked us to help dispose of his collection of over 50 fine motor cars.
Together with the vehicle we have an A4 binder containing a large history portfolio, needless to say the vehicle has been maintained with no regard to expense with prior maintenance recorded at 1268, 1829, 2237, 2556, 2948, 3223, 3566, 3919, 4045, 4440, 4471, 4736, 4816, 5782, 6076, 6214, 6740, 6972 and 7263 miles, the vast majority of these services having being carried out at Jack Barclays who supplied the car new. Finished in beautiful royal blue with french navy hide to the driver's compartment and barley hide to the rear compartment with cloth inserts as Lady Gosling did not like the slippery leather seats.
