For Sale is a 2002 Mk4 VW Golf 25th Anniversary Edition 1.8T 3dr in Reflex Silver.
MOT'd til Aug'23. Have owned for the past 17 years and has only 1 previous owner.
Special 25th Anniversary es equipped with Recaro sports seats in 'Le Mans' cloth upholstery, Six-speed manual gearbox, 18-inch BBS alloy wheels, Roof spoiler, original OEM stainless exhaust, Electric windows, Air conditioning, Aluminium pedals, Brushed aluminium interior trims, GTI gear knob, Perforated leather rimmed steering wheel with bright red stitching, puter, Original Gamma cassette radio with 6 disc CD changer, Rear head restraints, Remote central locking, Alarm, Immobiliser, ABS, EBD, ESP, Original Anniversary carpet mats, Spare wheel
• Completely original and in unmodified condition (even down to the floor mats)
• Full Service History and maintained by VW specialists for most of its life.
• Comes with original keys (two) and manufacturer’s instruction manual including original 25th edition cover
• Cambelt and water pump replaced at ~80,000 miles
• Exterior:
- Paintwork in good condition for age. Minor stone chips expected.
- Wheels were refurbished about 7 years ago and remain in good cosmetic condition. Centre hub caps show some deterioration which is normal for the BBS alloys
- Light rust around both front wheel arches (see pics)
- Minor lacquer peel around bottom of offside rear window (see pics)
• Interior:
- Very good condition overall
- Carpets are clean and seats are all in good cosmetic condition with no water marks/stains
- Rear seats have only been used a handful of times during their lifetime and look like new
- Passenger seat hardly used and is still nice and firm
- Driver seat is good cosmetic condition although slightly softer than others through use however bolsters continue to hold their shape.
- Leather on steering wheel and hand brake shows little wear
- Locking mechanism broken on glove box (normal fault for Mk4s)
- Some of the cheaper plastics used for the lower dash and centre console have slightly deteriorate and e ‘sticky’ to the touch (normal for Mk4s)
Overall the vehicle has been well looked after and is in very good condition for its age,representing a great example of an original spec 25th Anniversary.
